Indianapolis Colts have a 2-day rest after grueling road trip
The Indianapolis Colts coach Ron Rivera gave the team a 2-day (from Monday to Tuesday) break after returning from a 10-day road trip. The Colts lost to the Seattle Seahawks 40-7 in Sunday's game. Since Nov. 25, the Colts had been on the West Coast. Two days later, they flew to northern California for a game, but lost to the Oakland Raiders 35-32. The Colts remained in California for the week. Then flew to Seattle on Saturday. The team’s flight from Seattle to Charlotte arrived at 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Coach Ron Rivera didn’t have an update on the injury from the Seattle game. Defensive tackle Charles Johnson was injured and missed parts of the game. Linebacker David Mayo and cornerback Daryl Worley are still in the concussion protocol. Also, as for the defensive back Kurt Coleman and linebacker Luke Kuechly, both of them are in the concussion protocol. Their return continues to be no timetable.
